I didn't (and still don't) care that it breaks the logic of the series because I think if the events of it really add another level to Okabe and Kurisu's relationship. And it adds a bit more character development on Kurisu's part as well.

I don't give a shit if it didn't have as much power as the series but if you're as emotionally invested in it as I am then you will definitely be satisfied with it.
